NEW YORK, May 12 (UPI) -- A new TV movie starring The Naked Brothers Band is to be broadcast on Nickelodeon next month, the U.S. cable television network said Monday.

To air June 6, the 90-minute flick "Polar Bears" will feature four original songs from the band's second album "I Don't Want to Go to School," written and performed by Nat and Alex Wolff.

After Alex watches the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," "the band rallies together to raise money and awareness for the environment and in particular for the polar bears, who stand a chance of extinction," Nickelodeon said.

"'Polar Bears' is a TV movie with heart," Nickelodeon's Marjorie Cohn said in a statement. "What makes this movie stand out beyond all the fun and music that is the trademark of the Naked Brothers Band is that it examines the issues of climate change from a kid's point-of-view and illustrates how kids can make a difference in the world today."

The TV movie will be available for purchase on DVD June 17.

The Naked Brothers Band television show airs on Nickelodeon Saturday nights.
