LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) -- The CW network has confirmed that U.S. television actress Jennie Garth will have a recurring role on the new version of "Beverly Hills, 90210."

Garth will again play wealthy Kelly Taylor, the character she portrayed on the original 1990s teen soap opera, Usmagazine.com said, reporting a CW statement.

The actress, who recently competed on television's "Dancing with the Stars," will play a guidance counselor at West Beverly High in the new edition of "90210," the network said.
