Provocative teen pics prompt investigation

MELBOURNE, May 11 (UPI) -- An Australian fashion magazine is being investigated after it featured photographs of a topless 16-year-old female model, the girl's agent says.

Priscilla Leighton-Clark, who represents model Zippora Seven, says her client was shown in a number of provocative poses in an 18-page Russh Australia editorial fashion spread, The (Melbourne) Sunday Herald-Sun reported.

Leighton-Clark maintains that the photo spread, which also featured 16-year-old male model Levi Clarke, was simply too provocative given her client's age.

"It's wrong that our girl has appeared in a magazine exposing her breasts when she's so young," Leighton-Clark told the newspaper.

Russh editor Natalie Shukur defended the spread, which featured Seven and Clarke in a bubble bath together.

"We believe Russh readers 'get it' in this narrative story," said Shukur, whose publication is being investigated by the Australian Classification Board, which reviews and classifies films, computer games and publications before they are released to the public.

"These are beautiful images of two young people in character," said Shukur.
