SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 7 (UPI) -- Police in Arizona say they arrested rapper DMX Tuesday for driving more than 100 miles per hour past three separate checkpoints in January.
The recording artist, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was captured on stationary cameras piloting his 1966 Chevy Nova II at triple-digit speeds, TMZ.com said Wednesday.
Scottsdale police told the entertainment news Web site Simmons faces charges of racing on a highway, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment, three counts of criminal speed and driving on a suspended license.
