LONDON, May 4 (UPI) -- British singer Amy Winehouse has decided not to help create and sing a theme song for the next "James Bond" film, music producer Mark Ronson says.

Ronson said the theme song for the upcoming spy film would likely never be created "unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal," the BBC said Sunday.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Winehouse told the BBC the "Rehab" singer dropped out of the song production due to a difference of opinion with Ronson.

The unidentified spokesman added that Winehouse and Ronson would likely work together again, despite the fact the pair's production efforts on other new music have also stalled.

"She has always made her own decisions about her music. Needless to say, this is part of the process between artist and producer and we're sure they will continue to make great music together," the spokesman told the BBC.

While the pair was never officially signed on to create the theme song for "Quantum of Solace," the 22nd "Bond" film, Ronson said officials behind the film had approached Winehouse regarding the project.
