ORLANDO, Fla., May 4 (UPI) -- "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus says her fans have helped her deal with the fallout from her controversial "Vanity Fair" spread.
After performing a set at the Disney Channel Games in Florida Saturday, the 15-year-old singer thanked those in attendance for their support during the persistent media coverage of her racy photography spread, People.com reported.
"I hope you had an awesome time," Cyrus said. "I saw a sign back there that said, 'Miley, I'm praying for you.' I could not be more appreciative. Thank you guys for all your support. Without you, none of this would be possible. I love every one of you and I could not be more appreciative. God bless you."
The Orlando event, which was hampered a bit by persistent rainfall, also included sets from other top Disney acts such as the Cheetah Girls, "Camp Rock" star Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.
People said Cyrus also used Saturday's performance to debut two songs from her new album scheduled for release on July 22.
