Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
WASHINGTON, April 30 (UPI) -- The Madame Tussauds wax museum in Washington says it is lowering its prices for senior citizens and children under the age of 12.
The attraction said it will also offer a special discount for residents of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Starting Thursday, ticket prices will be $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and $12 for kids ages 12 and under. Children under the age of 3 are free.
Residents of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia will receive an additional discount, making their admission costs $13 for adults and seniors, and $9 for kids ages 12 and under with proof of residency.
"We want to make it even easier for those friends and family members to experience the exhibits, interactive experiences and amazingly lifelike wax figures at Madame Tussauds (in) Washington ... ," Janine DiGioacchino, general manager of Madame Tussauds in New York and Washington, said in a statement.
Tussauds cited the increasing cost of gas, food and other necessities as factors in the decision to change its pricing structure.
