CLEVELAND, April 23 (UPI) -- Vocal problems have forced pop star Alicia Keys to pull out of a concert in Cleveland Thursday, her reps said Wednesday.

Keys earlier canceled a Tuesday night concert in Pittsburgh because of swollen vocal cords, "Entertainment Tonight" reported.

Her publicist told the TV celebrity news magazine the Grammy Award-winning singer expects to be in shape for her scheduled Saturday night show in Columbus, Ohio.

Her opening act, Jordin Sparks, earlier dropped out of the tour after being diagnosed with acute vocal cord hemorrhaging.
