NEW YORK, April 22 (UPI) -- Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West is solo again, his former fiancee told People magazine.
Designer Alexis Phifer told the entertainment magazine the couple called off their year-and-a-half engagement but "remain friends."
"I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors," she continued. "He's one of the most talented people I've ever met."
West and the designer of Ghita clothing had been dating on and off since 2002 and announced their engagement in 2006.
West, currently on his "Glow in the Dark" tour, has yet to issue a statement, People said.
