Winehouse gets three songwriting nods

LONDON, April 21 (UPI) -- British pop star Amy Winehouse has garnered three nominations for the Ivor Novello songwriting awards, including two for best song.

The winners will be announced May 22 in London.

Up for Song of the Year are Winehouse's "Love is a Losing Game" and "You Know I'm No Good" along with "Let Me Out" by Ben's Brother, the BBC reported.

Winehouse's "Rehab" will compete for bestselling song of the year alongside "Beautiful Liar" by Shakira and Beyonce and Mika's "Grace Kelly."

Kate Nash's "Foundations," the Klaxons' "Golden Skans" and Cherry Ghost's "People Help The People" will compete for Best Contemporary Song while Radiohead, Stephen Fretwell and Cherry Ghost are nominated for Best Album.

Prizes will also be awarded for television and film soundtracks and scores as well as for international achievement.
