LONDON, April 16 (UPI) -- British children's television presenter Mark Speight left two suicide notes before he apparently hanged himself, a coroner's court in London was told.

Speight, who had been the host of the "SMart" and "SMarteenies" television art programs, was found dead last weekend on the roof of a building next to the Paddington train station in central London.

His fiancee and fellow TV presenter Natasha Collins died in January in a scalding bath after she had spent the previous evening binging on drugs. Officials ruled her death was due to "misadventure."

Speight was said to have been devestated by the loss.

The BBC reported the Inner West London coroner, Dr. Paul Knapman ,said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Speight's death.

A suicide note was found on his body, while another was discovered at his apartment in northwest London.

British Transport Police confirmed at the inquest that an autopsy found the cause of death was hanging, the BBC said.
