NEW YORK, April 16 (UPI) -- The New York duplex where the late socialite Brooke Astor lived for half a century is to go up for sale for $46 million, a broker from the Corcoran Group said.

"This is one of New York City's truly legendary residences," Leighton Candler, the broker who has the listing for the 14-room, Park Avenue residence, told the New York Post. "It's extremely elegant and sophisticated. Its beauty and refinement are almost magical."

The co-op includes four en suite bedrooms, a library, six terraces, five fireplaces and high ceilings, the Post noted.
