LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) -- Actress Jodie Sweetin, known for her role in the U.S. TV series "Full House," has given birth to a daughter, her representative says.
A representative for the 26-year-old actress confirmed Sweetin and husband, set designer Cody Herpin, now have an 8-pound, 7-ounce baby girl named Zoie, People magazine reported Sunday.
"Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie," the unidentified representative said following Saturday's birth.
The couple was married last year at a small Las Vegas ceremony and at the wedding, the actress who played Stephanie Tanner on the popular 1990s sitcom made no secret of her love for Herpin.
"Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn't ask for anything more," the actress said. "He's an unbelievable person."
