NEW YORK, April 11 (UPI) -- Parade magazine says U.S. television personality Oprah Winfrey is the top-earning celebrity in its 25th annual "What People Earn" survey.

While Winfrey earned about $260 million, hedge-fund manager John Paulson tops her in the wage race. He pulled in $3.5 billion last year.

The survey also noted the pay range of professional athletes with golf great Tiger Woods taking home about $115 million last year, while a rodeo steer wrestler from Wisconsin made $178,000, a billiards player from Tennessee racked up $650,000 and a Texas bowler earned $313,000.

The late Leona Helmsley's beloved Maltese, Trouble, who made $12 million thanks to the trust Helmsley left behind, also got a mention on the Parade list.

Parade's poll on jobs and the economy found 93 percent of survey participants believe the economy should be the top concern of presidential candidates.

Thirty-nine percent of respondents said the cost of fuel is their biggest financial worry, while 16 percent said saving for retirement was and 14 percent cited the cost of health insurance.

A third of readers are concerned about losing their jobs.

The survey results will run in Sunday's issue of Parade.
