Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

LOS ANGELES, April 10 (UPI) -- Australian-born "American Idol" contestant Michael Johns was voted off of the television singing competition Thursday night.
Johns, 29, was eliminated based on his rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On" earlier in the week, the Charlotte Observer reported.
"If there's a song to go out on that's not a bad one," said Johns, who moved to the United States in 1998 so he could attend Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College in Tifton, Ga.
"I'm going to miss you," judge Simon Cowell told the latest "Idol" cast-off. "You're a very, very good singer and a very, very nice guy."
Judge Randy Jackson added, "Keep on rocking, dude."
