"In the beginning, I didn't know what was gonna happen so I didn't tell anyone at the show that I was a flight attendant because I thought they might not take me seriously as an actress," Linder told the Los Angeles Daily News.

The actress, who works for United Airlines, has been a flight attendant for nearly 30 years.

Her second career only recently came to light when her co-star Jeanne Cooper boarded her flight.

"I told her the truth and she thought it was really great," said Linder, who is to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday. "I do the show during the week and fly on weekends."
