Priest pleads guilty in Conan case

NEW YORK, April 8 (UPI) -- The Rev. David Ajemian, a priest accused of stalking TV talk-show host Conan O'Brien, has pleaded guilty in a New York court to disorderly conduct.

E! Online said Ajemian admitted in court that he sent numerous letters and DVDs to O'Brien's home and business during a 14-month period which started in September 2006.

Ajemian, who described himself in a note as one of the TV star's "most dangerous fans," also contacted O'Brien's parents and occasionally stopped by the studio where O'Brien tapes his show.

He was originally charged with aggravated stalking and harassment, but those charges were dropped in exchange for his plea of guilty to the disorderly conduct offense.
