LONDON, April 8 (UPI) -- Mark Speight, the British children's television star whose fiancee recently died in a scalding bath after a cocaine binge, is missing, police said.

Scotland Yard told the Daily Mail it was looking for Speight, who is described as "vulnerable" and "unstable."

An inquest last week found his fiancee Natasha Collins died of misadventure in the couple's apartment. Police said they wouldn't file any charges against Speight in Collins' death.

"We are continuing to follow up a number of inquiries and have received numerous calls from people purporting to have seen Mark and are in the process of following them up," a police spokesman told the Mail.

Speight, who starred on TV's "SMart" program, was reported missing after he failed to meet a friend in Central London Monday.

"His friends are really worried about him," a source close to Speight told the newspaper.
