LONDON, April 2 (UPI) -- Natasha Collins, who was a well-known U.K. children's television presenter, died in a scalding bath after binging on cocaine, an inquest in London has heard.

Coroner Paul Knapman recorded a verdict of death by misadventure, explaining Collins had died from cocaine toxicity and immersion in hot water, The Daily Mail reported Wednesday.

Collins, 31, had burns on 60 percent of her body when she died Jan. 3 after she and her fiance Mark Speight spent a night at home allegedly drinking and doing drugs, the newspaper said. Five times the potentially fatal amount of cocaine was found in her system, authorities said.

Speight, the presenter of BBC children's show "SMart," met Collins while working on another kids' program, "See It Saw It," the newspaper noted.

Speight called 999 and tried to revive Collins after he discovered her body, however, she was determined to have been dead before paramedics arrived.

The Daily Mail said Speight was initially arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs but later cleared in connection with Collins' death. Scotland Yard said he wouldn't face any charges regarding the incident.
