New Kids on the Block planning a comeback

NEW YORK, April 1 (UPI) -- The once wildly popular U.S. boy band New Kids on the Block, which broke up in 1994, is planning a reunion, a source told The Boston Globe.

The group is expected to announce on the "Today" show Friday that it is getting back together.

The insider told the newspaper all five original members -- Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jordan and Jonathan Knight -- have signed on for the reunion and tour is being planned.
