LOS ANGELES, March 26 (UPI) -- U.S. recording artists Carlos Santana and Mariah Carey are the latest stars to appear in a Macy's television ad campaign, Santana's representatives said.

The "Carlos and Mariah" spot builds on the retailer's popular "Stars" of Macy's concept of promoting its lineup of celebrity fashion and home designers.

Highlighting Santana and his Carlos by Carlos Santana line of women's shoes, which is sold at Macy's, the 30-second spot also features Carey, who is seen admiring an example of Carlos footwear.

The commercial then shows Santana saluting Carey's signature fragrance, another Macy's item, as Martha Stewart and Donald Trump, who have their own Macy's lines, look on.
