NEW YORK, March 22 (UPI) -- Rapper Lil Wayne revealed this week he worked with U.S. music sensation Kanye West on three tracks for his upcoming "Tha Carter III" album.
Wayne said the "Graduation" rapper will be featured on three "Carter" songs, adding that other album tracks will include performances from rappers Jim Jonson, Deezle and Swizz Beatz, Billboard reported Friday.
In February, Wayne revealed that rappers Mack Maine, Kidd Kidd, Jibbs, Shanell, Lil Mama, Hurricane Chris, Tyga and Corey Gunz would all appear on the album.
Wayne said the album, which had its first single debut on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, represented a lot of hard work and dedication.
"I never (boast) because I know you can come out and not sell (one) record," he said. "I put my all into it, it's me on a platter so if you don't like it, then you don't like me."
