Daytime Emmy nods to be unveiled on 'View'

NEW YORK, March 17 (UPI) -- Nominations for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced next month on the U.S. talk show "The View," ABC said Monday.

The awards nominations are to be unveiled on the April 30 episode of the New York show, which will feature appearances by numerous daytime soap stars, including Rebecca Budig, Cameron Mathison, Farah Fath, John-Paul Lavoisier, Marcy Rylan, Van Hansis, Bryan Dattilo and Alison Sweeney.

People Magazine senior writer Mark Dagostino also is to be on hand to provide predictions and commentary based on the nominations, the network said.

The 35th edition of the awards ceremony is to be broadcast live on ABC June 20 from Hollywood's Kodak Theater.
