LONDON, March 16 (UPI) -- Rock icon Paul McCartney will be ordered by Britain's High Court to pay a divorce settlement of more than $50 million to Heather Mills, it was reported Sunday.
The Sunday Mirror reported the court will hand down its verdict in McCartney's bitter divorce case Monday.
The verdict is expected to also create a trust fund for the couple's daughter, 4-year-old Beatrice.
Lawyers for both sides were reportedly informed of the High Court verdict Thursday and one source said the presiding judge has attempted to avoid any possible legal appeals.
"The judge has gone into every detail to make sure neither party can have grounds for appeal," the unidentified source told the Mirror.
The 65-year-old singer and 40-year-old former model will determine what aspects of the settlement will be released to the public following Monday's verdict.
