Presley appreciative of fan support

LOS ANGELES, March 15 (UPI) -- Lisa Marie Presley has issued an online shout-out to her fans for supporting the pregnant U.S. singer-songwriter.

The celebrity daughter of the late rock 'n' roll singer Elvis Presley posted a message on her MySpace blog this week, thanking her loyal fans for their outpouring of well-wishing, People.com said Friday.

"Your overwhelming support has not gone unnoticed," the 40-year-old singer said. "It has been heartwarming to see. It has made me very happy."

Presley announced March 7 she is pregnant with her third child after media reports about her apparent weight gain.

One British newspaper, the Daily Mail, for example, said Presley had "gained weight like her father Elvis." The report prompted Presley to announce her pregnancy and the singer sued the media group three days later, People.com said.
