NEW YORK, March 12 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Lindsay Price says she is excited to be working with 1980s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy on the TV series "Lipstick Jungle."

"It's very strange to work with an icon like Andrew," Price told the New York Daily News. "He might have been one of my first crushes -- I was very aware of his movies. When we were shooting in front of Saks Fifth Avenue, looking at the dresses in the windows, we were staring at all those mannequins and I thought, 'Oh my gosh, 'Mannequin'!' It just washed over me how much I used to watch that movie with him and Kim Cattrall."

McCarthy is best known for his roles in the films "Pretty in Pink," "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Less Than Zero."
