Stars line up for 'Monsters' movie

GLENDALE, Calif., March 11 (UPI) -- Hollywood stars Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Stephen Colbert and Will Arnett have joined the voice cast of the animated film "Monsters vs. Aliens."

DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. and Paramount Pictures Corp. announced the cast Tuesday.

Hugh Laurie, Rainn Wilson, Kiefer Sutherland and Paul Rudd are also set to lend their voices to characters in DreamWorks Animation's first film produced in Ultimate 3-D technology.

Slated to open in the United States March 27, 2009, "Monsters vs. Aliens" "reinvents the classic 1950s monster movie into an irreverent modern-day action comedy," DreamWorks Animation said.
