CHICAGO, March 8 (UPI) -- Chicagoans who love "Wheel of Fortune" are catching the TV game show in person this weekend as 15 episodes are being taped at Navy Pier.

"Wheel" hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White are spending three days in the Windy City taping the popular TV series with all recorded shows to air this spring, the Chicago Tribune reported Friday.

All estimated 38,000 free tickets for the tapings were snapped up by the show's fans.

Sajak and White apparently are enjoying their time in Chicago.

"Chicago is clean. It's beautiful. It's got a great night life," White said. "I loved the people, the lake -- and the food."

"I miss the pizza and the Chicago hot dog," said Sajak, who grew up in there.
