HOLLYWOOD, March 8 (UPI) -- "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker opened a restaurant in Hollywood this week with some of her co-stars in tow.
The restaurant Boso, whose name means "kiss" in Spanish, opened Friday with "Desperate" co-stars Nicolette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman among those in attendance, the Daily Mail said.
One notable absence was Longoria's husband, San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker, who was occupied with his NBA team the night of the opening, the British newspaper said.
Longoria took time at the opening to explain her passionate love of food and the lengths she will go to learn a new recipe, the Daily Mail reported.
"I'll go to a restaurant and if I have an amazing dish I'll go to the kitchen and ask the chef how he made it," the TV star said.
"And then I'll make him teach me. You can ask (my husband) Tony (Parker), I do it all the time. I'll leave him at the table for like 30 minutes."
