PREMIERE OF "THE NUMBER 23"

LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Canadian filmmaker Jason Reitman and comic actor Jim Carrey reportedly are planning to collaborate on the new big-screen comedy "Pierre Pierre."

Variety.com said the $13 million, politically incorrect film is about a French nihilist who transports a stolen painting from Paris to London.

Reitman's previous films include "Thank You for Smoking" and the Oscar-nominated "Juno."

Carrey, star of the "Ace Ventura" movies, "Liar Liar" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," will soon be heard in the animated film "Horton Hears a Who."
