Winehouse joins V festival lineup

LONDON, March 5 (UPI) -- Grammy Award-winning British singer Amy Winehouse has signed on to perform at England's V music festival this summer.

Also slated to play the famed venue are The Verve, Alanis Morissette, Sugababes, Travis, Amy MacDonald, The Prodigy, the Kooks, Ian Brown and Stereophonics, the BBC said Wednesday.

Lenny Kravitz, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, Muse, Maximo Park, the Charlatans, The Hoosiers and Duffy are also included in the lineup, the report said.

The festival is to take place Aug. 16 and 17 at Chelmsford's Hylands Park and Weston Park in Staffordshire.
