Lewis to debut new single on 'Idol'

'Idol' runner-up releases first album

NEW YORK, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- Former "American Idol" finalist Blake Lewis is set to debut his new single "How Many Words" live on the popular U.S. competition series next month.

Lewis, 26, was a finalist during the show's sixth season.

He is slated to perform his new song on the series March 6, Arista Records said Friday.
