LOS ANGELES, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- The Jesus and Mary Chain's first new studio recording in a decade is set to appear on the upcoming soundtrack CD from the U.S. TV sci-fi fantasy, "Heroes."
The 18-track album features an eclectic mix of songs -- many of them new releases -- by the likes of Nada Surf, Panic! at the Disco, Wilco, Imogen Heap, Bob Dylan and David Bowie. Included on the album, as well, is a collaboration between Brighton Port Authority and Iggy Pop.
The "Heroes" soundtrack will be available March 18 only at Best Buy stores. It is available for pre-order now at www.bestbuy.com.
CD tracks will be available digitally on Zune Marketplace and other digital service providers at that time. The album is being released through the NBC Records label.
