KENTWOOD, La., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- U.S. television starlet and teen mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears has passed her General Educational Development exams, a published report said Monday.

The "Zoey 101" actress, 16, has earned her GED, her representative told Usmagazine.com. Jamie Lynn Spears, the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, has previously said she might take classes at Louisiana State University.

"I haven't thought anything about what I might study," she reportedly said. "I'll have to look more into that. But if I went anywhere, I think it would be fun to go to LSU."

Jamie Lynn Spears has been keeping a low-profile since announcing late last year she is pregnant with her first child.

"She's already got her diploma," a friend told People.com. "She wants to take her ACT. She's not wasting any time. People don't know her. When she gets something in her head, she'll make it happen. Everybody is so supportive of her."
