Madonna shows up for jury duty

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Madonna showed up for jury duty at the Beverly Hills, Calif., Courthouse Monday, but was not selected to sit on a panel, TMZ.com said.

The entertainment news Web site said the singer and actress was dismissed from jury duty Monday afternoon.

Madonna reportedly was co-host with actress Demi Moore at a big Oscars after-party Sunday night.
