OSLO, Norway, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- The head of a museum in Norway claims to have drawings of Walt Disney characters drawn by Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
William Hakvaag, who runs a war museum in Norway, said the drawings were found hidden in a painting signed "A. Hitler," leading him to suspect Hitler may have created them, The Daily Telegraph said Saturday.
Hakvaag, who purchased the painting at a German auction, said Hitler was a noted Disney fan.
"Hitler had a copy of 'Snow White,'" the museum head said. "He thought this was one of the best movies ever made."
Hakvaag said the signature on the painting matches other recognized copies of Hitler's handwriting.
The Telegraph said the Disney character sketches hidden in the painting included Pinocchio and two of Snow White's friends, Bashful and Doc.
