LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt and Gael Garcia Bernal have joined the cast of Jim Jarmusch's "The Limits of Control," currently filming in Madrid.

The movie, about a mysterious loner whose activities remain meticulously outside the law, began shooting this month, Focus Features said in a statement announcing the new additions to the cast.

Focus is co-financing the film with Entertainment Farm.

Also joining previously announced lead actor Isaach De Bankole in "Control" are Hiam Abbass, Paz De La Huerta, Alex Descas, Youki Kudoh, Jean-Francois Stevenin and Luis Tosar.

"These acclaimed actors span an international spectrum of talent, and are sterling additions to this exciting new project. Jarmusch's films include "Broken Flowers," "Stranger than Paradise," "Down by Law," "Night on Earth," "Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai" and "Coffee and Cigarettes."
