LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan reportedly has settled her civil case with a busboy regarding a 2005 car accident.

No details of the settlement were revealed in court papers obtained by "Access Hollywood," the entertainment media outlet reported Friday.

Raymundo Ortega claimed in his lawsuit that Lohan was negligent when her car collided with his van after the actress left The Ivy restaurant, even though police at the scene of the accident determined Ortega caused the crash by making an illegal U-turn.

Ortega, who had been seeking $200,000 in damages, said the actress had been drinking before the smash-up. She was underage at the time of the crash.

Lohan filed a countersuit, seeking $75,000 from Ortega, arguing he and several unnamed defendants were to blame for the accident.

Lohan also cited the police report from the scene of the crash, in which investigators said there were no signs she was intoxicated at the time of the accident, "Access Hollywood" said.
