Kate Nash to open Glastonbury fest

LONDON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Brit Award-winner Kate Nash has signed on to open England's famed Glastonbury Festival this June.

The singer grabbed the prize for best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards Wednesday night.

Nash, 20, is scheduled to perform at the Glastonbury Festival June 27, the BBC said Friday.

Other artists included in the festival lineup are the Kings of Leon, Neil Diamond, The Verve and Jay-Z.
