LONDON, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- British film star Sean Bean reportedly married actress Georgina Sutcliffe Tuesday in a low-key ceremony at the Marylebone Register Office in London.

Bean is best known for his work in the "The Lord of the Rings" epics, as well as the movies "GoldenEye," "Patriot Games" and "National Treasure."

Sutcliffe studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and appeared in episodes of "Dinotopia" and "The New Adventures of Robin Hood," IMDB.com reported.

Usmagazine.com said the couple married Tuesday with only a handful of close friends and family in attendance.

The wedding reportedly was scheduled to take place last month, but was canceled at the last minute.
