Branagh, Ifans, Jones board Curtis' 'Boat'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Kenneth Branagh, Rhys Ifans and January Jones have signed on to star in Richard Curtis' "The Boat That Rocked," a film set in 1970s England.

Curtis wrote, produced and will direct the movie about disc jockeys for a pirate radio show, Variety.com said Tuesday.

The film is to start shooting March 3 in London, the trade paper said.

Curtis' previous projects include "Love Actually," "Bridget Jones's Diary," "Notting Hill" and "Four Weddings and a Funeral."

Branagh has starred in "Hamlet" and "Sleuth" and will soon be seen in "Valkyrie."

Jones, who had a bit part in "Love Actually," now stars in the U.S. television series "Mad Men."

Ifans co-starred in "Notting Hill" and has also been seen in "Hannibal Rising" and "Danny Deckchair."
