NEW YORK, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Boxer Oscar De La Hoya stood up former stripper Milana Dravnel at a New York hearing for a $25 million slander lawsuit she slapped on him, a report said.
Dravnel, 22, claimed her ex-flame, De La Hoya, lied about photos she allegedly took of the boxer dressed in high heels and fishnet stockings, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.
"You guys have to be schmucks to think he would show up for a pretrial conference," De La Hoya's attorney, Judd Burstein, told reporters.
De La Hoya reportedly claimed the photos were digitally altered and that Dravnel signed a covenant in September 2007 saying she was unable to validate their authenticity.
"I've been hurt by what Oscar said. This was my only option," Dravnel said.
