LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz reportedly has extended Jamie Spears' role as co-conservator over his daughter, Britney Spears', affairs.
Jamie Spears has been looking out for Britney's safety and personal and financial interests since Feb. 1, when Goetz appointed him and Andrew Wallet as temporary co-conservators, People.com said.
Pop star Britney Spears, 26, was hospitalized twice last month for psychiatric treatment and recently lost all rights to visit her two small children.
Jamie Spears and Wallet Thursday asked the court to let them continue with their responsibilities until March 10 because a psychiatric evaluation of Britney due Wednesday hadn't been delivered, People.com said.
The commissioner granted the extension and scheduled a hearing for that day to discuss the possibility of continuing their conservatorship.
