Bai Ling arrested for alleged shoplifting

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Chinese-American actress Bai Ling has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for alleged shoplifting, a published report said Thursday.

Ling's big-screen credits include "The Crow," "Red Corner" and "Anna and the King." She also appeared in an episode of the TV show "Lost."

TMZ.com said Ling is accused of stealing two gossip magazines and a package of batteries from one of the terminal shops Wednesday afternoon.

A store employee made a citizen's arrest and Ling was taken by airport police to the station where she was booked for theft, the report said.

Sources told TMZ.com Ling was "cooperative but crying" during the incident.
