Azaria lands two high-profile film roles

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Hank Azaria has signed on to play an Egyptian pharaoh in "Night at the Museum 2" and Abraham in the biblical comedy "Year One," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Azaria is best known for lending his voice to several characters on the animated TV show "The Simpsons."

He also appeared on the sit-com "Mad About You," co-starred in the films "The Birdcage" and "Great Expectations," and headlined the musical "Spamalot."

Azaria is set to wrap up his Broadway run in the play "The Farnsworth Invention" March 2, the entertainment industry trade paper said.
