Page to star in horror flick 'Hell'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Canadian actress Ellen Page, who is up for an Oscar for her portrayal of a pregnant teen in "Juno," is set to star in the horror flick "Drag Me to Hell."

Variety.com said the movie will be directed by Sam Raimi, who previously directed the "Spider-Man" trilogy, as well as the supernatural thriller "The Gift."

Raimi also co-wrote the script for "Hell" with his brother Ivan.

Production is to begin March 17 in Los Angeles, the trade paper said.

Page, who won raves for her performance in the psychological thriller "Hard Candy," has also signed on to star in "Whip It," Drew Barrymore's directorial debut.
