LONDON, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. singer Norah Jones says filming her first cinematic kiss with actor Jude Law for the movie "My Blueberry Nights" took three days to complete.

The 28-year-old singer said the kiss was far from romantic and took so long to complete because of the various filming angles taken into account by Japanese director Wong Kar Wai, The Daily Telegraph reported.

"Shooting the first kiss took three days," Jones said. "They were trying to find the right angle, the right way. I had to lie on the table with my chin at an angle and cream on my face, and Jude was supposed to kind of sop it up. I don't really kiss him back. It's not like we made out."

While "Blueberry," a film about a heartbroken woman traveling across the United States, initially was not supposed to include Jones' vocal talents, she said one song was ultimately added.

"We weren't going to put in any of my own music; it would be weird because my character's not a singer," Jones told the British newspaper. "Then at the last minute Kar Wai asked if I had anything."
