LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- U.S. television personality Pat O'Brien is the latest celebrity to check into rehab.

Hollywood actresses Kirsten Dunst and Eva Mendes, and British singer Amy Winehouse all recently entered rehab to deal with substance-abuse problems.

O'Brien is a co-host on the syndicated TV entertainment gossip show, "The Insider," which announced on its Web site he had entered a rehabilitation facility.

"O'Brien and his doctors felt this is the best course for maintaining his sobriety," said the statement.

O'Brien, 59, was previously a host on "Access Hollywood." He also spent time in rehab in 2005.
