LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Hollywood A-listers Brandy, Leonardo DiCaprio, Diane Keaton and Steven Spielberg turned out for the Democratic U.S. presidential debate Thursday night.

People.com ran photos of the celebrities sitting in the audience of the debate between presidential contenders Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

The event was at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, the scene of the upcoming Academy Awards presentation.

It is still unclear whether stars will attend the awards show, which may be picketed by the striking Writers Guild of America.
