'Iron Man' ad to air during Super Bowl

HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment have announced that a new ad for their upcoming film "Iron Man" will air during Super Bowl XLII in Arizona.

Helmed by "Swingers," "Elf" and "Zathura" director Jon Favreau, the superhero flick is set to open in U.S. theaters May 2.

Robert Downey Jr. plays the title character in the movie, which is based on the Marvel comic-book hero.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, Terrence Howard and Shaun Toub co-star in the film.
